My kids worked really hard at school and university this year and they had big plans to travel together in the summer, but COVID-19 put a stop to everyone's plans, so after a family meeting we all agreed to be safe and go sailing in Croatia for a week in July. We chartered an Elan E4 (2019 model) via Sail Charter International from Pirovac and had an amazing week of sailing and swimming with perfect weather everyday.  Chartering a boat in Croatia for a week is such great value, and is not to be missed if you really want to relax and sample some local culture, food and beautiful scenery.

Our 2018 Croatian adventure was a really wonderful week, arranged with the superb support of SCI. They managed to get us a newer and more comfortable than the older yachts that we were previously used to and we also found this yacht better equipped than our usuals. We had days of sun with winds from moderate to crisp - with peaks of "challenging" strength, also some more moderate winds which were more relaxing. From Pula we visited Mali Lošinj, Unije, Medulin, and back to Pula. We had an excellent vacation... Cheers and thanks from Roberto - and the Vacanze Romane team.

We were very happy to offer support and training service for two days to our clients Joep and Sissy Winkles on their chartered catamaran “Eveline“ (Lagoon 400) from marina Pomer, Croatia. Our entry in the 2018 The Hanse Cup Adriatic 2018 was organised by Sail Charter International. The 28 teams participating consisted of Hanse owners, charterers, Hanse admirers along with the Hanse company crews that planned a great team building opportunity, competing in fun. It was a wonderful social week of fun times and sail racing. Frank skippered "Jenny" with, John, Tim, Helmut, Sergio and Fernando, and Dominic skippered "Veni Vidi Vixi" with Dave, Vadim, Bogdan, Luka and Jools. I was very happy with the service and support from Sail Charter International! My hope: to get a charter yacht for the unusual long-weekend period (Thursday to Monday) was a particular challenge - but SCI managed it. This made me all the more happy about your mediation !! The specific charter company offered an older fleet, but our boat was very well equipped and in pristine condition! We booked a two boats for a week this summer and had the time of our lives. Great reception at the Marina, the boats were in great shape our skipper was fantastic. Can only recommend a sailing holiday! It truly is a unique experience. The sailing can be exhilarating but once anchored or moored up in a marina, there is nothing more relaxing than enjoying the atmosphere.
